Lyrics

We the people

Why let this live when it should be graved.
There can’t be freedom if we are all slaves.
It's the way to bring order the politicians say.
Sitting in his tower while we starve from our cage.
It can't be shamed it has no humility.
And it cannot be blamed it has no dignity.
Only a blessing could make quiet the blasphemy.
Is it we the people or slavery.

Law and order? They order our money!
While the average person cannot afford to be.
And the suited man laughs while we bleed
Like dogs we stare in complete envy.
Oh masters of government you know not grief.
You know to build all of these monuments for your beliefs.
And then you tighten your grasp and we behave so socially.
Is it we the people or slavery.

I saw your alters and they mean nothing to me.
When I see your flags to me it means your victory.
Over the world and what's left of me.
Your political filth is the air that we the people breathe.
I won't be tamed you will not control me.
I will plant my feet in my own blood before you break me.
Because your future to me, is so empty.
It is we the people and not your slavery.

It is we the people not your slavery.

We the people, We the people, We the people

People, ain’t it about time that we stand up for our rights?
Maybe demolish this wall of lies that surrounds our government.
We pay taxes upon taxes to this piggy-back banking pig.
And that pig he flourishes in the midst of these things.

Who are we? We're the human race.
Who are we, we are the ones with the spit in our face.
Poets & artists, saints & sinners and human all alike.
It is time for us to stand for our rights.
